Windows 8 compatibility

The OBM team is proud to announce that starting with version 2.4.2, OBM (specifically o-push) is now compatible with Windows 8.
As you may already know, Windows 8 brings support for Microsoft's Exchange Active Sync (EAS) protocol in Mail, Contacts and Calendar applications (article). This means that you can add an EAS account to your Windows 8 computer and it will automatically sync your contacts, calendars and mails.

Out-of-the-box, you'll get:

  • Mails, including IMAP folders and autocompletion of contacts
  • Contacts
  • Calendar

This is a big step forward and proves that o-push is more stable than ever.
